Who is Meleter James?
Meleter James is the Founder and Principal Legal Consultant of Meleter James Law & Consultancy, an independent legal consultancy dedicated to providing accessible, client-focused support across a broad range of unreserved legal matters.
With extensive experience gained through working with Local Authorities, educational settings and community organisations, Meleter brings a unique and well-rounded perspective to legal consultancy. Having served as a School Governor, Director of a School and Executive Headteacher, Meleter has developed a deep understanding of the challenges faced by individuals, families and professionals navigating complex systems, decision-making processes and public services.
A passionate advocate for fairness, equality and opportunity, Meleter has been championing the rights of others from a young age. This commitment began early through youth advocacy, including engaging with Prime Ministers and contributing to national discussions affecting young people. Meleter's dedication to ensuring that voices are heard and rights are respected has remained a constant throughout both personal and professional life.
Currently progressing towards qualification as a solicitor, Meleter combines practical experience, strategic thinking and a strong commitment to client care. No challenge is approached with hesitation. Whether supporting a family through a SEND dispute, assisting with housing issues, preparing tribunal documentation, or providing strategic legal guidance, every matter is approached with determination, professionalism and meticulous attention to detail.
